A founder-led network, built with care.
LexResolve was built to meet a clear and growing need: structured, ethical, and accessible mediation that respects both participants and practitioners.

Founded with a commitment to thoughtful resolution.
Abimbola (Bim) Delalu is the Founder and Principal Mediator of LexResolve — a lawyer, mediator, and dispute resolution professional with over two decades of legal experience, including more than thirteen years of practice in Alberta.
Holding an LL.B. and an LL.M., Bim brings exceptional legal grounding and deep practical experience to every file. Her background spans complex family law matters — parenting and custody disputes, child and spousal support, property division, mobility applications, cohabitation and separation agreements, and high-conflict family dynamics. She has appeared before the Alberta Provincial Court, the Court of King's Bench, and the Court of Appeal, and is known for combining rigorous legal knowledge with a principled, resolution-focused approach.
But Bim founded LexResolve on a belief that should be simple — that access to fair, just resolution should not depend on the size of your legal budget. For too many people, the path to what is right is blocked by the fear of crippling legal fees, overwhelming processes, and systems that feel designed for lawyers, not families. LexResolve exists to change that. By offering structured, legally informed mediation in an environment that is approachable, transparent, and genuinely cost-conscious, LexResolve empowers individuals and families to navigate conflict proactively — before it escalates, before it breaks relationships, and before it becomes unaffordable.
This is mediation the way it should be: accessible, dignified, and built around people.
An IMI Qualified Mediator, Bim holds advanced training in mediation, family violence screening, alternative dispute resolution, and Parenting Coordination — bringing both the legal expertise and the human sensitivity that real resolution requires. Beyond her practice, she hosts Family and Beyond Podcast, a podcast exploring the legal and social issues affecting families, reflecting the same commitment to awareness, informed decision-making, and empowering people with knowledge.
LexResolve's team includes experienced lawyer-mediators who share that same mission: compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping clients find resolution with clarity, fairness, and care. Inquiries from qualified lawyer-mediators are welcome at info@lexresolve.ca.
A changing legal landscape
Courts are increasingly directing parties toward mediation. Public expectations have shifted, and demand for high-quality Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) continues to grow — particularly outside of traditional litigation pathways.
Barriers to traditional mediation
Despite this demand, many people encounter real barriers: cost, complexity, fragmented intake, and uncertainty about who to trust. Capable, ethical professionals exist — but the structures connecting them to participants often do not.
The need for structured accessibility
LexResolve was designed to close that gap with a curated network, consistent intake, and predictable process — so that participants experience resolution as a clear, professional, and dignified pathway.
Professional and community-conscious
We are committed to institutional quality and community accessibility at the same time. Resolution work is serious; it should be delivered with the calm and care it deserves.
LexResolve is committed to making structured, ethical, and accessible dispute resolution available to all who need it — with professionalism, compassion, and care.
